Cardinal Leo Writes to Federal Government on Issues of Deep Concern

In recent days, Frank Cardinal Leo has sent two letters to cabinet ministers in the federal government to raise attention and express deep concern regarding the following issues:

• Letter to Federal Minister of Health – this correspondence pertains to a recent consultation held by the federal government relating to end of life care, specifically the expansion of euthanasia through advance directives.
  
  
• Letter to Federal Minister of Finance – this correspondence is in response to a finance committee recommendation regarding the charitable status of religious organizations and those identified as “anti-abortion”.
