Men Ignatian Silent Retreat - Praying with the Wisdom Tradition of the Old Testament

Men Ignatian Retreat: Although many believers are not attracted to the Old Testament since God is often portrayed as a warrior God; nevertheless, the Old Testament is made up of different genres whereof one is the Sapiential Books, a.k.a., the Books of Wisdom: Proverbs, Psalms, Job, Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes, Book of Wisdom, Wisdom of Sirach and to some extent Baruch. These wisdom books grant us much guidance for simple everyday living as a Christian in our contemporary world.

This retreat begin on Friday evening and runs to Sunday with lunch. The suggested offering is $260 which includes your two night's accommodation, meals, spiritual direction and retreat program. Facilitated by: Fr. Henk van Meijel, SJ.
